Start With What the Car Is Doing
Cars announce their problems in symptoms, not part names, so that's how we organize things:
- Won't start at all? No-Start Diagnostics
- Slow cranks, dim lights, needed a jump? Battery & Charging Help
- Noise or softness when stopping? Brake Repair
- Warning light glowing? Mobile Diagnostics
- Curious how any of this works? Mobile Auto Repair
Symptom doesn't fit the list? Call anyway. The list is where calls start, not where they end.

The Middle of Every Visit
Between emergencies lives everything else we install and replace weekly: starters, alternators, serpentine belts, radiator and heater hoses, thermostats, water pumps, spark plugs, ignition coils, oxygen and mass airflow sensors, batteries, wiper motors and arms (a load-bearing part in this town), and regular oil changes with the multi-point look-over included.
The filter question is simple: safe without a lift? Probably yes. Needs a lift, a press, or an alignment rack? That's shop work, and we'll say so upfront and free.
The Fall Maintenance Appointment
If Everett had one mandatory car ritual, it would be a pre-rain checkup each fall: battery load test before the cold arrives, wiper blades before the monsoon months, defroster and heater check, tire tread depth for wet pavement, lights all around (you'll be using them by 4:30 pm soon enough), and a look at the terminals our climate loves to corrode.
It's an hour in your driveway in October that prevents the classic November breakdown. Ask for the fall check when you call 425-689-7090, and we'll nudge you again next year so you never have to remember.
Spring gets a lighter version: wash-season is when people finally see the winter's worth of grime under the hood, and a quick look at belts, hoses, and connections while the pollen flies sets the car up for the two dry months we're allotted. Road trip planned for those two months? Say so, and the checkup gets tuned for highway miles instead of commuting.
The Parts That Rain Wears Out First
Some components are simply consumables in this climate, and pretending otherwise gets expensive. Wiper blades last six months to a year here, not the two years the package promises, because they run daily and dry rot in between. Headlight housings haze faster with the constant wet-dry cycling, and hazy lenses matter more where it's dark by dinner half the year. Cabin air filters clog with the organic confetti our tree canopy drops, and a clogged one is why your defroster suddenly takes ten minutes to clear the windshield.
None of these are exciting repairs. All of them are cheap, quick, done in your driveway, and easy to bundle onto any other visit. Say "and look over the rain stuff" when you book, and we will. Your February commute will thank you.
